Abstract: Production of valuable and sustainable fuels, chemicals and materials from lignocellulosic biomass has attracted increasing interest worldwide. The researchers at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) are dedicated to development of technically and economically feasible processes for biomass conversion and utilisation. These biomass conversion processes include thermal-chemical and biological processes. In this presentation, Dr Zhanying Zhang will introduce the research progress in the area of biomass research at QUT.
