Prof. Jin-Quan Yu, graduated from East China Normal University with a B.Sc. in 1987, and carried out his Ph.D. studies at Cambridge University in 1999. After working as a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. E.J. Corey's group, he worked as Royal Society Research Fellow at University of Cambridge in 2003. After one year, he joined Brandeis University as an associate professor. Then he moved to The Scripps Research Institute. And was promoted to professor in 2010.

報告內(nèi)容 摘要：
His? current? scientific? interests lie? on the discovery of catalytic carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond forming reactions based on C-H activation. He is actively involved in the chemical community and received so many rewards and honours, which include Royal Society University Research Fellowship（2003）, Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science（2012）, Honorary Fellow of Chinese Chemical Society (2016), Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize in the Physical Sciences, 2013, MacArthur Genius Grant, 2016, et al.
He has authored more than 200 publications in international journals with a high impact factor (e.g. 5 × Nature， 6 × Science, 2 × Nature Chemistry, 78 × the Journal of American Chemical, 38 × Angewandte Chemie)? and many book chapters. His papers has attracted more than 26767 citations.
